The website says results will be released early to mid-December. I would hope that will be before December 19. |
Each school is different. The NMC sends them out in batches. On College Confidential, kids are reporting scores. |
Anyone know when Fairfax County will release the scores? |
In the past, we received them just before Christmas in regular mail. |
The schools generally distribute those scores either just before or just after the Christmas break. You will be able to access them online at the College Board website sometime in late Dec/early Jan. |
If your kid already has a Quick Start account on the College Board website, you can hack into this year's scores using the method outlined by a kid on College Confidential at this link:

Does this also apply to the "training PSAT" that freshmen take? |
Where do freshman take a PSAT? I know sophomores take a PSAT, but thought Juniors was the only class it mattered for. |
Sophomores and Juniors in Fairfax County take the PSAT. In the past freshmen took the ACT Explore, this year they took a different test. |
I am a school counselor in Fairfax County, and we received the package with results on Tuesday morning. |
Yes, that. I can't keep track of the test names. So when do the results come back? |
It's up to the schools to hand them out when they want. My son's school has them now but won't give them back until after exams end next week, because they don't want any kids (or parents, more likely) to stress out over the scores during exams. |
My son got his today. |
It's so weird to me that they get sent to the schools. I feel sure I remember getting them in the mail at home when I was in high school.
That said, my DC got results from the school counselor today. Just between us, lol, I was hoping they'd be better. (And before anyone takes me down as a Tiger mom, DC is hoping to go to JMU, so we're not exactly gunning for Harvard here, lol.) |
Our private sent them home on Friday |
