Iggy Calls Out Eminem...Calls Him "An Old Man..."

for rapping about raping her.

I think she is just angry at these rappers for saying things about her.

First Snoop, now Eminem.

I give her a pass though.

When I was her age, 24...I remember thinking people Snoop's and Em's age were just old as hell.

Then I grew up.

Ummmm seriously? You're focusing on Iggy having the problem here? When Eminem rapped about RAPING her?

Are you kidding me?

I'm done with this world...

So, you're mad that she called Eminem old? But you're cool with him saying he was going to rape her? Okay.

It's sick to sing about raping someone. Eminem has a daughter: does he think it's fine for guys to talk about raping HER?

You know, not to be a grandma or whatever, but when Hank from the Sugarhill Gang died recently, I listened to Rappers Delight. Super cool, super catchy, super musical, and no crap about violence against women. Writing lyrics about violence against women is, among other things, lazy and unimaginative.

Big Bank Hank died? Sad.

I just listened to this this morning (before reading DCUM) and had the same thought. Though the song is not free of dismissive attitudes about women. "I'm gonna get a fly girl gonna get some spankin'
Drive off in a Def Oj ... Say if your girl starts actin' up, then you take her friend"

Like everything else in pop culture, we've kept snowballing down the hill. From Lady Marmalade to Pu$$y ....

Re Haley, he'd probably kill anyone who thought about doing something like that. Different rules for family and outsiders.

What people do not realize is that Eminem is an entertainer people.

He does this for a living. It is his schtick.

Actors say things in films. Ben Affleck called Asian "Japs" in Pearl Harbor. The "N" word has been used in countless modern-day films.

Comedians like Joan Rivers have joked about slavery, 9/11 and the Holocaust.

Yet we all hate on Eminem.

Well the more we hate on him, the more famous he seems to get. And the more he seems to laugh all the way to the bank.

I guess any type of publicity is good publicity.

Because he obviously is still relevant.

Nelly who?

I strongly dislike this woman, but Em was out of line.

Me too. I think this site is being taken over by Millennials. I still do not know who this other Iggy is.
