| Does yor school call 3rd grade parents to encourage them to apply? I'm wondering if they call everyone or only families who have a student who is a good candidate. |

| Thanks. Our school called us directly (not a robo call, a call with someone at the school) a couple of years ago to see if our child was planning to apply. They have not called this year for our current 3rd grader and I was trying to figure out if the calls were targeted. |

| We got bcc'd emails from the teacher, the counselor, the county and a robo call. All in the last 2 weeks. We are in the Pine Crest/ Oakview cluster. |

| we didn't send in the application until today. maybe you sent yours in early and DCCPS (or whatever) let them know and they didn't reach out with reminders |

| My child was identified as a candidate, did very well on the tests, we got the letter/application in the mail and that was it. We're not applying. |
