The tampered candy post got me thinking...what's your favorite urban legend?
Mine is the one where the college girl goes back to her dorm to get something and doesn't turn on the light because she doesn't want to wake up her roommate. When she comes back the next day, her roommate has been murdered and written in blood it says "aren't you glad you didn't turn on the light?" I also like Bloody Mary and admit that I don't like to pass by mirrors in the dark! |
| Bloody Mary |
| The one you posted was exactly the one what came to mind as I was opening the post. |
| The Hook Man |
|
Man found in hotel in bathtub packed with ice and a sign that says call 911 - black market has removed his kidneys
Second place would go to person killed because they flashed the high beams to a car with it's lights on - guys in the car were part of a gang initiation |
| Having kidneys stolen and waking up in a bath of ice... ickkkkk |
| The Bunny Man. |
My drivers ed teacher talked about that as if it were a real thing when we were discussing safety stuff. I can't remember what he told us to do, but it was presented in a way of "don't flash an oncoming car beCause this could happen". He also told us to always check under our cars before we got too close because another gang initiation was for someone to hide under a car and then snip your Achilles' tendon when you were going to get in your car! |
Me neither! It's totally irrational but I've had that fear since I was a kid. I don't even believe in anything supernatural. |
| Goat man |
| The moth man - but that one is real. |
| I don't know what half of these are. |
| Was it Richard Gere with the gerbil? |
| The Phil Collins song one. That he actually witnessed the murder and invited the guy to one of his concerts. |
