Baby will only nap with cat in crib.. would you allow it?

| I haven't read this whole thread, but I would never allow my cat to nap with a baby. I actually would never own a cat with children in the house. Have you seen the studies linking schizophrenia with a virus carried by cats? It is TRUE. You don't want to risk mental illness. I am not kidding. |

| She has gotten so big! Love the curls. And to the crazy cat lady talking about schizophrenia and Cats- perhaps you should do more reading yourself. There is no definitive evidence that it causes schizophrenia and basic precautions (like not having your infant change the cat litter box) can avoid the possibility of transmission of toxoplasmosis. not to mention that the risk of your cat having the virus is pretty much absent if you have an indoor only cat. |
