This is not an idiot. He's a hero.

MAGAs, you have nothing to gloat about. You know you're going to get pardons no matter what.

Oh great! Now you’re gonna be calling this guy a hero? He is an idiot and a loser. Exactly like the stupid January 6 protesters, he is the same!

Assault a police officer, any law-enforcement and you should go straight to jail.

What, exactly was the damage a sandwich was going to do to someone with a gun?

What exactly was the thought process of a an adult male throwing his sandwich at anyone? Clearly, either not too bright and/or
Emotional control and impulse control issues. It's as if he hasn't outgrown his nerdy personality in middle school.

Oh let’s see what happens when this goes before a dc jury.

I mean, finally, someone, ANYONE, doing SOMETHING.

I'm obsessed with this story and I hope it gets bigger. As a DOJ employee he probably knew what he was doing when he threw that sandwich (and it looks in the video like it was done with intent and not just in a fit of rage). This is civil disobedience for 2025: provocative, not actually violent (the sandwich practically bounces off the FBI dude's chest), rife with possibilities for humor and symbolism. Then Pam Bondi refers to him as the "Deep State"? Omg, it just gets better.

I'm just waiting for the Go Fund Me for him to drop so I can voice my support.

You are not going out there losing your job by pointless acts so why should he have? These purposely sacrifices are actually a form of self worship when you think about it, as if one's self flagellation has power to make change in the world

This is kind how I feel about whining from cops.

They are just mad that he’ll go through all this and still be at a higher station of life than they will ever achieve.

I didn’t realize liberals could afford sandwiches unless they use EBT.

Granted, it will be a DC based jury. But he will be prosecuted in the Federal District Court by US Attorney's Office. Very different rules and procedures than DC Superior Court. The guy really fu@ked himself.

No felons on federal juries.

Maybe a subway spokesperson. Probably a lucrative gig.

Republicans buy footlong subs too.

Well, we didn’t think that MAGAs could read, so congratulations.

There should be a job for him as a top advisor at DOJ just like Jared Wiseman.

DC is one of the wealthiest cities in the entire country. Why are you even on this web site when you don't live here?

The irony, and stupidity, of your comment is that rich people overwhelmingly live in liberal areas. People in DC, NYC, San Francisco, Boston and LA together pay more in federal income taxes than every single person living in a red state combined.

I'd much rather live in a red state with people of modest means than in an area where people are judged by their wealth. I also have much more admiration for a hardworking nurse, school teacher, social worker, school counselor, small business owner, mechanic, farmer, etc than some elitist from the places you mentioned who earns a living as a stock broker, finance specialist, California film industry person, etc.
