I linked to an article discussing the reasons for the protests including their statements, in a published news article. I never claimed anything about a “party platform”. But if you want a taste of what Democrats are for, here is their 2024 platform showing that they demand a path to citizenship for “long term undocumented individuals”. So to me, that does back up what I said: fighting for people here illegally to stay.

A process was needed - that required an executive order. It’s not like all of a sudden a bunch of South Africans arrived and were let in. Trump signed an executive order, and the invited refugees arrived by plane to Dulles. They were let in because of reputable hate-filled threats of murder by a national party leaders without repercussions.

I hate to break it to you, but lots of our prisons are for-profit also.

Fact remains Abrego Garcia is an illegal alien native to El Salvador and when we deport people we send them to their home country. In his case, that was El Salvador. And his home country, not the US, decided to imprison him.

We brought him back to the US to face charges so now he'll likely become a profit center for a US prison company before being sent to Salvador to serve the rest of his life.

What do you propose as a solution? Exploitation of migrants isn't cool so that we get cheap stuff

Keep in mind there's 10 million illegals immigrants and 8 million unprocessed asylum claims and only 700 immigration judges.

Clearly the status quo is untenable, but rather than have a rational discussion you all seem to jump to calling names.
