In case you are wondering I went downtown regularly during the demonstrations and two of the store robberies happened within 2 blocks of where I live and I was even home that night and my family is completely fine as is everyone else!

There were many incidents of vandalism and harrassment and looting. There were also peaceful protests. The latter is just fine, the former was lawless --the beginning of the era of lawlessness IMO.

Right and that article proves rather than disproves my point - none of the stores that were cited in this piece as having been looted were in areas where there were BLM protests which was the case in my neighborhood where we had no BLM protests but two different stores were looted though even that is not really accurate - in both instances organized criminals broke in and targeted the pharmacies and otherwise left the rest of the stores untouched so it really wasn't looting in any sense of the word.

I get it - it scared you even though I doubt you even live in DC or spend much time there - but it really wasn't a big deal.

People's behavior makes perfect sense if they have a DIFFERENT GOAL than you do, PP.

Ineptitude is a deflective presumption. Of course this individual could have been arrested, had a ban order issued, etc. Yet, he is allowed to continue to commit sex crimes, as other crime also continues unabated. In what used to be a safe part of town, in part of a high end development.
