You’re a Republican. If you can’t hold your nose and vote for Trump a third time, you’ll for sure vote for the weirdest garbage.

Responses like this is why I’m not a registered democrat. I’m an independent who voted for Biden last election. And shocker….I could even change my mind before the election depending on how the debates go…oh wait…

But you do you smarty pants.

You're not "independent." You have not principles.

Sure I am. The candidate matters; not the party.

Sadly, the parties keep letting me down with the garbage they’ve put in front of the people to chose the leader of our country. Open up your primaries and maybe we’d see some better options. Sure, the wacko’s in each party will pull candidates to each fringe, but at least people like me (and we are growing) could at least start to make a dent in the process.

Yes, people like you are growing. We should all by now be at the very least skeptical of our two political parties considering their performance in recent decades. They are private entities that can be replaced and the option of replacement should be on the table unless they get their act together in short order. Trump vs Biden 2 in 2024 is not acceptable. We need the best of the best in their prime years leading the most powerful country in the world. What the RNC and DNC currently seem willing to put in front of us in 2024 is not the best of the best in their prime years. It's more than okay to demand better.

Trump vs Biden 2 appears to be inevitable whether you or I like it or not. Trump's grip on a large enough portion of Republican voters to get nominated somehow hasn't waned and the DNC will be sure not to let any potentially viable democratic candidates get in the way of Biden. Both parties have successfully eliminated any chance of a 3rd party presenting a challenge to their control. Pick one, Trump or Biden.

When was the last time an incumbent president was successfully challenged?

When was the last time an incumbent president was as demented as Joe Biden?

The "demented" president owned the GOP at the State of the Union, has offered many awesome quips, including the one while sitting with Zalensky last week, and has been the most consequential president in a generation. He is old, but he is still sharp and effective.

Our last President, Donald Trump was far more demented.

Gotta go with the less demented candidate to lead the most powerful country in the world

I suppose you can laugh about it, but Biden runs circles around Trump, who, by the by, thinks America is a third world hellhole. Such a patriot! https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/donald-trump-2024-florida-speech-b2376408.html

Both parties have successfully eliminated any chance of a 3rd party presenting a challenge to their control. Pick one, Trump or Biden.

In the short term, you're right, we appear to be stuck with Trump vs. Biden in our next election. I disagree with the notion that the American public has no choice but to accept the fact that our two parties are in complete control over who leads and how they lead our country going forward. This is sickening concept. I'm going to use Larry Hogan in an example of how this concept is continuing the decline of leadership in our federal government. I'm not Republican but I have to acknowledge that Hogan had a by most accounts successful term as a moderate Republican governor in a large majority democratic state. It's safe to assume that he was seriously considering a run for president in 2024 until he came to realize his candidacy would be only successful enough to further guarantee a Trump victory in a more crowded Republican primary field. I very likely would not have voted for Hogan if he were nominated for president but I'm certain we would all have benefited from the much stronger field of presidential candidates that would have come to fruition had he, or any other normal moderate Republican with a history of successful executive experience were to be nominated as opposed to Trump. That would force the DNC's hand to consider jumping off the Biden bandwagon in order to come up with a candidate that would have a better chance of beating a stronger, more moderate Republican that is still in the prime of their political career. This isn't a knock on Biden; it's simply an undeniable truth. Otherwise, there is no reason for the DNC to jump ship from an incumbent president that has already beaten the same awful candidate 4 years ago. The strength of one party and candidate contributes to a stronger other party and candidate and we as a country will benefit greatly when both parties are stronger and functioning at a higher level. The Hogan situation is sad for him as he is entering the twilight of his political prime and likely won't be a viable candidate come 2028. Hogan is just one of numerous strong Republican and Democratic leaders that will remain on the sidelines in 2024 for the same reasons. I can't fault people for voting for Biden in 2024 in a match-up against Trump but the forced method of voting for the lesser of two evils needs to stop sooner than later.

Fair enough but for 2024, it's Trump vs Biden. It sounds like you know who the correct choice of the two is.

If there was any doubt who is primarily funding RFK Jr's campaign, read on to see who is contributing to his campaign and how much.

Of note:

"The unusual profile of Kennedy's financial supporters raises serious questions about their motivations. Are wealthy supporters of Trump and other Republicans backing Kennedy because they want him to be the next president? Or are they sending cash to Kennedy, a promoter of conspiracy theories about vaccines and other topics, so he can create havoc in the Democratic primary? In April, CBS News reported that far-right extremist Steve Bannon encouraged Kennedy for “months” to run against Biden, “believing he could be both a useful chaos agent in the 2024 race and a big name who could help stoke anti-vaccine sentiment around the country.”

Being anti-vax isn’t as frowned upon as you would think in SoCal. A lot of them eat up his positions on GMO seeds, pesticides, etc as well.

And despite how much Blue MAGA tries, the Kennedy family is beloved by a lot of real Democrats. Kennedy cleaned up the Hudson, what did you do?

The rest of the Kennedy family hates this guy.

I agree with the poster above. If Joe Biden is so "demented" then what does that say for your GOP who he keeps destroying and running circles around?

You saying "demented" over and over again isn't going to change that inconvenient fact.

- bullied by barely literate dipshits like Boebert
- bullied by foreign agents like Comer
- bullied by pedophile enablers like Jordan
- bullied by underage-sex-traffickers like Gaetz
- and apparently also bullied by a "demented" old man in the White House

So, who are you to talk? Your clown show is far worse than anyone else's, Republicans! 🤡
