I will say the "cuties" scene was ambiguous. He definitely said it, but seemed more clueless than anything else. My take is that he does want to grow up, and also can't stand being disliked. You know, because he's fun, genial Cole whom everyone normally likes. Just a very immature guy, who says thoughtless things but generally means well. Which is what Zanab seemed to come to in the end. Speaks volumes though that she had all the support in the group, including from the guys it seemed.

He's a typical cute guy who's coasted on his looks and fun personality, and never been called out on his ish before. I think he was definitely shocked when that happened, and I'd like to think he's sincere in wanting to improve. Time will tell. Whereas gross Bartise is a lost cause.

I think this is exactly right. And, unlike Barnacle, he seemed to feel genuine remorse about some of his crappy behavior.

Well, how about they air the footage? The one they did, it was all about Zanab hearing what she heard in her own head, and not having a good handle on the context or tone.

Cole isn't perfect, his convo with Colleen was awful. But Zanab is a messed up person in her own right, and so unnecessarily blaming Cole for everything. She takes zero accountability for her own crappy behavior.

But intent is not the same as impact. All of those moments together have an impact. He seemed to realize it towards the end of the reunion. Bartise, who did the same thing to Nancy, did not.

Agree. He said "save your appetito". If she is going to bring that up, it's her insecurities. I have been fat and I have been thin and my reaction when I was fat would be anger and when I'm thin I would have laughed at that, or said you're right, I want to save my appetito.
