Yeah, but the money she gets from us taxpayers in food stamps, welfare, etc. might just be-and who's crazy here-she purposely had eight embryos implanted in her body . Of course she put up with the pregnancy. If I decide to take a bath, I put up with being wet. You need to research this story a little further before commenting.

She is insane, do not try to figure out an insane person and hold them to healthy standards. You will only end up going in circles.

Hopefully they will not end up deaf and blind, like the Hooker triplets, a truly tragic story. I saw a documentary on them on Discovery Health, it was so sad. These children lived in a silent and dark world, it seemed so lonley.

I think it's deeper than love of (or "FOR") money.

It seems like she has no sense of reality.

The rumors that she is trying to be like Angelina Jolie is enough to for the tabloids on to use for the next two weeks of cover stories. Whether or not she really did have plastic surgery to get similar features as Jolie is still debatable, but either way ...it's sorta creepy.

I wonder if her plan for attention, sympathy, corporate donations, and money by having a octos. (+ 6 she already has) backfired on her.

I don't think it is either - I think she is a deeply disturbed person who should probably be in a strait jacket, but instead she keeps popping out babies and no one has told her to STOP ALREADY!

She is NOT right in the head...did you see the part of her interview where she said she was going to pull double shifts to support her children? That's all well and good, but who is going to be taking care of them? No job in the world can pay for daycare for FOURTEEN!

Seriously, something is wrong with her...and the fact that she blames it on being an only child makes me want to throw things at her!

But I love the credit cards on her website. It's so easy to make a donation. The pix of the babies tug at our heartstrings. Who could resist pulling out their wallet to help those eight little darlings?

Come to think of it, she does have that Angelina Jolie look, in a weird, twisted sort of way. And is Angelina Jolie so right in the head? Who would use her as a role model?

THe website is weird - but maybe she is overwhelmed with ppl wanting to help out.
I really dont think she did it for the money. I truley believe that she has a void and needed it filled. She has a compulsive disorder - and is addicted to having kids.
Although I think she is crazy - I can understand her not wanting to throw away her embryos. THat is a very touchy subject. Had 1 embryo implanted no one would be talking about her. She took a ridiculous risk. She even had 6, not 8 implanted - and it was her destiny that not only did the 6 work, but 2 of them split. At the end of the day - it was meant to be. I feel sad for all the kids and her and hope that everything works out.
I dont think any amount of $ from food stamps, donations, book deals etc would cover the costs of the childcare finances needed to provide for them. I think she should definitely take advantage of anything anyone offers her helpwise bc it is not fair for the kids. This is not a living of luxury - not even if she was married to a billionaire. She has other issues.
