I have friends in town with two kids ages 8 and 2.5. They're staying in Gaithersburg and we're looking for a place up in that direction to meet for dinner. I live in DC and don't have kids so I'm kind of at a loss in terms of what to recommend.
Thanks for any suggestions you might have. |
| I should add we're looking for a place to meet tomorrow, Friday night. |

Kind of random but I love this place:
http://www.yelp.com/biz/hot-breads-gaithersburg I take my toddler there. They have a kids menu with kids dosas that are huge and delicious. Kind of hole in the wall but in a clean way. It is an indian place slash bakery. So you can follow up your meal with a fresh slice of cake or cookies. It is a very casual place though, you order at the counter... |

Chef Geoff's on Rockville Pike
Matchbox Brasserie Beck (maybe, depends on how well-behaved the kids are) |
| Moby Dick (it’s kabob not seafood), Guapo’s (Mexican), Five Guys (burgers), Dogfish Head Alehouse (pub food) |

Got it, thanks. |
| On a Friday night at the Rio you will wait forever for a table at many of the restaurants and many don't take reservations. Copper canyon and cafe deluxe take reservations so you might try those. |
