| I ask because my toddler had cotton candy for the first time last week and it BLEW. HIS. MIND. Like he was eating magic on a stick. Similarly, I remember eating soup dumplings in New York City when I was an intern and had an equally awe-inspired reaction. Have you eaten anything magical in your lifetime? |
| palak chaat from Rasika |
| Homemade pasta with fresh grates truffles. Granted it was in Italy ony honeymoon so that added to the magic. But it was amazing and I still recall it. |
| When I was a kid, popping popcorn was totally magical. |

Foie gras

| Bread pudding soufflé with whiskey sauce at Commander's Palace in New Orleans was like that for me. |
| The olive at the bottom of a martini. |
| The first time I had sushi was pretty amazing. |
| A perfectly ripe fig plucked right off the tree. |
| A sun butter cup and fresh strawberries on challah after a ten hour hike. |
True! Simple things always taste magical after a long hike. |

I agree about the popcorn!
Also homemade bread. Blew my mind. |

I still feel that way about cotton candy ... Like spun clouds of sugar and fairy dust.
Berries plucked from any bush, warm from the sun and immediately on the tongue. I'm not picky - strawberries, blueberries, raspberries. Heaven. |
| Most recently it was a freshly made donut with maple icing and bacon topping. |
| my grandmas matzo ball soup |
