| And you can always be part of a program that gets you in a small sub-set of the school. For example language immersion - yes our school has 900 students, but my kids were with the same 60 kids for most of their years. |

| School sizes can be kind of misleading in Fairfax because of the AAP program. Some schools are small for K-2 but then get larger for grades 3-6 if they're a center school. Some schools are larger for K-2, but then get smaller because a large percentage of the population leaves for AAP in grades 3-6. |
I think Lemon Road is the only school mentioned so far that is an AAP center. |
