Cooking yontief dinner at the moment. So far I've gone through a dozen this morning.
2 kids-each eat 1-2 eggs each morning plus pancakes or French toast on the weekend. In avg, at least 1.5 dozen. This week looks like about 3 dozen. |
| I buy 2 dozen every week, sometimes we eat more, sometimes we eat less, but it averages out to be 2 dozen. Family of 4 |
| Family of 3, 1.5 dozen. |
| Maybe a dozen every 2 weeks. |
|
We might go through several weeks where we only use a few for baking, then a stretch where going through a couple dozen per week (omelets for supper or the kids want eggs for breakfast or egg salad, etc).
We're a family of 5. |
| Family of 3. Half a dozen unless we are baking something |
| Oh my.. We go through about a box at the most. Family of 4 |
| Family of 4 - about 1 dozen a week. |
| 1.5 doz. We eat them for breakfast -- fam of 4 |
Family of 3 - Anywhere from 6-24 eggs depending on the week and how much cooking I do
|
Family of six. Three dozen eggs in a week is typical for us. Kids eat them in every form (scrambled, boiled, etc) and we also use them in cooking and baking. I think we consume a LOT of eggs but then again we are a big family- we consume a lot of food! I tried keeping a few chickens in the backyard for a while but they only laid a couple of eggs each day so it didn't really help . It was fun having the chickens though.

| family of 3 -- zero -- they make us gag |
| 1-2 dozen, for 3 out of 4 of us who regularly eat eggs. The kids realized we could eat omelet every day! Sigh.. at least they are full going into school? |
Op here. Dh and I were just discussing chickens last night! We are a family of 4 who goes through a lot of eggs. Easily 2 dozen a week. |
