| Gift a streaming stuck. Plugged into TV, put batteries in remote. Directions say turn on TV and log I to roku connection. I have a blank screen. Do I need to connect the TV to Internet somehow. |
| You need to connect the Roku to the internet by wifi or wire. |
| My TV isn't connected to the internet, but the Roku box connects through Wifi (my router). Is there a help number or online chat? |
| Um, is your Roku connected to the internet? |
| This may be basic, but did you plug in and turn on the Roku box? Is the Roku box connected to the TV? Did you recheck all connections? |
| Also, did you plug in the Roku power cord? |
| You can probably google for a help line. |
How do you do that? My router is in a different room. |
| The roju should automatically find your WiFi. You will need to enter your password to your router. |
| Do you have wifi at home? |
Yes When I turn on the TV I went to input select, selected HDMI, screen is blank. No way to connect to wireless. |
Your TV could have 4 HDMI ports. You may have to select something other than "HDMI" because that port is already in use. |
| You need to first connect the roku to the internet. If you have a password then you'd need to set that. Best way is to plug the roku via Ethernet into a laptop - or a desktop and then go through that process. Our roku is plugged in directly into the router since that's where it is. |
Try choosing another option |
The stick supposedly can power off the TV-ours didn't lso plug the stick into an outlet using the enclosed adapter. The TV might not be enough to power the device. Then go to the hdmi source. Click on the upper right home button. Scroll down to settings and let it search for your wifi. |
