Just bought roku. I'm confused.

The stick supposedly can power off the TV-ours didn't lso plug the stick into an outlet using the enclosed adapter. The TV might not be enough to power the device. Then go to the hdmi source. Click on the upper right home button. Scroll down to settings and let it search for your wifi.


This. I have the same model. You need to also plug into a wall outlet for power.

Your TV could have 4 HDMI ports. You may have to select something other than "HDMI" because that port is already in use.


Yes, if the roku is plugged in to the electrical outlet and connected with an HDMI cord to the TV, the screen will appear regardless of whether it's connected to the internet. Maybe you chose the wrong input selection or it's not even plugged into the power outlet.

Him..maybe there is something wrong with the TV since I have wifi, have it plugged into How does I, plugged into power. Will try a different TV maybe.

Where I work everyone goes to stall #1 so I typically go to 2 (if #1 is empty) or #4 or #5 (for BMs)
