2 yo DD has only ever been to CMG and I like the doctors there, but I just called to schedule her flu shot and was told that there was a manufacturer's delay and they have no idea when they will get them in.
I ... er? Plus, I'm due any day with #2 and wanted to get this done. Are other peds out too? Could I even take her to another practice where she isn't a regular patient? This seems really bizarre and I'm not totally sure how to address. |

| We went to Walgreens on Connecticut (across from UDC) and got it done there last year. I didn't want to have to take off work early for a flu shot we we went to Walgreens on the weekend. They are open on Sat and Sun and it was extremely easy. |

| I went to the clinic at Walgreens. They had shots and FluMist and will take kids. |

| I heard this was a problem with a lot of places, some CVSs included, this year. Wherever you go, make sure you call ahead. |

So they told me (NP here) that they're giving shots just to the people who have appointments anyway for another reason (like a checkup or something), so they don't have to come back. They have a small supply, but not their full normal supply yet. |

| NP here who just called -- now they're not even making the claim that they are giving it to people who have appointments for another reason. I have an appointment on 10/15 for my daughter's one year appointment and they could not confirm that she will get the shot at her appointment. I was told to call the day before. |

| My toddler had her flu shot at CMG on September 10th. I was told that they had a very limited supply. I wasn't even thinking about flu shots in early September until the pediatrician suggested it-- I'm glad we got it over with! Now, I just need to get mine... |
