Capitol Medical Group doesn't have flu shots yet?

My kids have their yearly check-ups next Monday and I was 100% counting on them getting their shots then! I hope they have enough to last until then.

My kids go to another pediatrician group and I was informed today that they had very limited supply and were limiting shots to kids who had immune issues. My twins do so they got the shot. My older child got the mist. Apparently there's a shortage.

Relax people! It's only September 30. I'm sure in two weeks they'll have plenty and everyone will get a shot.

Check potomac pediatrics. They have a great fly shot clinic and you don't have to be a patient.

Our ped had shots but no mist.

They had flu mist as of yesterday when my kids had their annual check up.

I called Monday and they said to just keep checking the website and they'll announce when they start scheduling shots once the shipment comes in. I waited on hold 15 minutes (and was disconnected once) before getting this info, btw .

Which Walgreens did you go to? I called one of the Walgreens in Northern VA and they said they don't do flumist for children under 7 years.

We were there today and said they expect to run out of their current supply this Thursday. THey are taking appts until then for the flu mist (may already be out of the shot.)

Yeah, this is really lame. We finally gave up and did the CVS minute clinic, which is about as fun as you'd expect.

My toddler got his there in the beginning of September.

I called yesterday too. I asked if they are telling people to just go ahead and find another place to get flu shots and was told no, it's not flu season yet and it will be fine to wait. I was concerned because flu started early last season but I guess it hasn't hit yet. My other concern is that everyone will all at once and we won't be able to get an appointment until November. But my kids wasn't to wait for CMG, they said the shots don't hurt as bad there.

We got to a different MoCo pediatrician and on 9/25 they only had FluMist and no shots because we were told there was a manufacturing delay. My son is old enough for the mist so it was fine but apparently it's not just CMG.
