How long does it take that rankings app to input games, like from the current ecnl showcase in Greer? Just wondering how the system works

it depends on sometimes by wed or Thursday. Seen tourneys this year taking up to two weeks.

Usually will update within a day. Could be a little longer for events vs. regular season games.

I see results from yesterday already available from the ECNL event.

Still announcements trickling in? ... Traditional TV news to boot ... Also find interesting that "Pro Girls Academy" is actually ECNL ... Wonder if GA could sue over this?

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Lexington Sporting Club announced Wednesday afternoon that it is launching a Pro Girls Academy, designed to provide female athletes with a high-performance soccer environment while taking away financial burdens.

Usually fully funded Pro Acadamies are associated with a pro team and they play in pro leagues against other pro teams.

This seems more like the clubs lower level and likely rec teams are being used to fund their top ECNL teams so those players play for free.

Neat idea, but will be difficult to sustain.

Lexington SC is a professional club with a youth club attached, so this makes sense. Has nothing to do with ECNL as someone mentioned. Lexington has unbelievable facilities but the population makes it hard to compete at a high level. They weren’t very good in GA and it won’t be any different in ECNL RL. They already have most of the available kids.

"The program allows players to compete in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) and national showcases and engage in high-profile friendlies throughout the course of the year."

ECNL always seems to puff itself more than needed ... this seems like no exception.

Well, let's see ... a big one is how stretching recruiting stats (when they don't need to -- they are strong without it) and leave out facts (like putting out numbers for girls to seem like all ECNL) and a ton of other political-like spin that makes it hard to take anything they put out at face value.

If winning and having the best competition mattered, the USYS National League would have been the model to win out. That obviously hasn't happened. Instead you have "elite" leagues that have become the market leaders where the top beat up on the bottom.
