What type do you get and what toppings? Not everyone likes lettuce, tomato, pickles.
What did you do? |
No yoga mat bread for my guests. |
That makes no sense. |
I think they rectified that issue, granola. |
| Lettuce, tomato, pickle are standard. Most people like that. I always get mustard, ranch, mayo on the side so they can out it on if they want it. |
| If you have a Paisano's I'd use them. Their subs are tastier, better meat cuts, just seem better quality to me. They also deliver. |
I might go for a platter from Italian Store, Taylor Gourmet or Wegmans if you can afford it. I'm not a big fan of Subway's sandwiches.
|
| I think Giant makes a better sandwich platter than Subway (ewewew). Corner Bakery is also good. |
| Have you considered Jimmy Johns? |
|
Subway wouldn't be my first choice, but I've seen it done where the platter includes 2-3 different types of sandwiches, each with it's own toppings combo. Example:
-Turkey with lettuce & tomato -Ham and cheese -Roast beef with everything (cheese & veggie combo) That way, if someone HATES lettuce for example, there is something they can take, but you don't have to have a million different combinations. Condiments on the side, so people can pick and choose, and the bread doesn't get soggy. |
| I like jimmy johns platters better. Lettuce, tomato and cheese is fine and can easily be picked off. Pickles, onions, mayo and mustard on the side |
| Love subway.. just make sure to get a few veggie. |
| I'd suggest jersey Mike's. they cut the meat for each sub. |
| No. Subway is beyond vile. Any store that has food creating such a disgusting smell as Subway does (allegedly its their bread) is not a place I would buy anything. |
| I'm not a huge fan but I agree that turkey + provolone, ham and swiss, and roast beef and cheddar are pretty standard. Lettuce and tomato on all - other condiments on the side. |
