Anyone order Subway platters for parties?

Anonymous
I have done the subway platter before for parties and work. They were all eaten and everyone enjoyed them....maybe it depends on the branch. The one near mr does a good job. We did the flavor craver on Italian with lettuce and tomato, then mayo and mustard in the side. It came with 12 cookies. There were 15 cut sandwiches per platter. I liked doing this much better than pizza, which gets old party after party.

How many people are you looking to serve? In the past, I've bought loaves of either French or Italian bread from the bakery section of the grocery store and made my own gigantic subs, then sliced them into individual portions. That way I could choose the ingredients. Like some PPs, I'm not a huge fan of the cold cuts at Subway, or the cheese for that matter. I always offered mustard and mayo on the side.

What did you do?

No yoga mat bread for my guests.

That makes no sense.

I think they rectified that issue, granola.

The issue was stupid anyways it's like saying your food has a deadly chloride that kills plant life and is thrown on roads to deice. chloride is almost like chlorine by only one ion. chlorine is deadly!.

They're trying to create a connection between the recent craze around yoga mat chemical (which is in a lot of foods, actually, and which I think might have some negative health effects) and the fact that most people don't know anything about chemistry (me included). We still eat lousy food.

I would not get a Subway platter, OP. The food is not tasty, at all.

Thanks, snob.

1536++ fresh, tasty and much cheaper too. I used to do this at the kids' parties sometimes - buy a couple loaves of french/italian bread and fill them up with ham and cheese or whatever.

Giant makes pretty good deli meat sandwiches on mini kaiser rolls. The tray costs like $40 and is much better than subway.

You can certainly do better than Subway!
