How many times did you fail before getting successfully pregnant?

Anonymous
Me
2 years of trying naturally along with OPK. Result fail.
6 months of Clomid. Result fail.
4 months of IUI. Result fail.
3 fresh IVF. Result fail.
2 FET. Result fail. One of them was a failure in lab.
2 more fresh IVF for CGH testing. Not counting them as failed as we did not transfer.
Overall status: Fail
Just curious to know if I have ANY HOPE.

How many CGH tested blasts do you have? Sounds hopeful to me!

~Successfully pregnant with late term loss & gearing up for IVF 5.

Well, since IUI increases your chances over just intercourse by 1% I would lump that into trying on your own with or without clomid. The IVF repeated failures are curious though. Can you elaborate?

I always get depressed when someone asked this question and so many women reply that IVF worked for them on the first try. ...but that hasn't happened here yet...

For me it took 3 fresh IVFs for DS. Trying again for #2 and so far still unsuccessful after 3 more fresh.

Honestly I wouldn't say it looks that great for you but as long as you have the $$$ keep going and I'm sure you'll hit the jackpot sooner or later. Especially if you have some CGH normals on ice. That's great!!

12 months trying on my own - No success
2 IUIs - no success
3rd IUI - First child

6 months trying on own - No success

1 FET IVF - chemical pregnancy
1 fresh IVF - no success
1 FET IVF - no success
1 FET IVF - chemical pregnancy
1 fresh IVF with CGH testing - got two normals- transferred one in FET - Second child

It doesn't happen for everyone right away. You just have to keep plowing through the shit until you get to the other side or until you just can't do it anymore. Good luck.

I actually missed an FET somewhere in there. I think I had another FET after the first chemical pregnancy. What's amazing is that you really will forget all of the details. I never thought that would happen. Ever.

Things prior to IUI's and the IUI's themselves were useless as husband had poor morphology. Doctor asked us to try as some women do hit the jackpot.
3 Fresh IVFs were blamed up on bad egg quality as I had low AMH and high FSH that got even higher in the second cycle. No idea why PGD testing was not recommended. I was not very active on forums when we did those, otherwise could have got some thoughts and ideas.
1 FET failed due to lab failure not in my control. Straw broke and embryos lost.
Changed clinics and again did 2 IVF cycles to collect embryos for PGD testing. Transferred 2 normal embryos in FET and failed. May be uterus, maybe bad luck or maybe something else.
I know the question I posted is redundant as everyone is different. Some get it in 1 try, some in 5, some never. Just wanted to see if there are women out there who went through what I am going through and if I should keep any hopes going.
