They all do except for a few. Schools could barely get 10-15 out there if they didn’t. Schools want rec and club to grow the sport but are unwilling to provide fields and resources.

Sorry but most of the good privates do not do this.

1.. You have it backwards: They let JV kids sit on the bench at Varsity games they don't move Varsity down to JV. Those kids are really JV not V just because they dress Varsity. Never with players that play varsity and never seniors.
2. Most teams do this.

Most good privates certainly do this - boys and girls. They can practice with varsity and possibly get some minutes in varsity blowouts while also playing in the better JV games.

The majority of PVI team is sophomores, they could win WCAC when they are seniors.

Great coach + demonstrated recruiting capability (to include having scholarship $$) = the only path for any school not currently in the top DMV lax tier to return to it (SSSA, PVI, Episcopal, Dematha) or break into it (STA, Heights, etc)

GP, GZ and LAN are the schools that don’t float bc they still have the numbers. Anyone else? Sic, Bullis, sssas, episcopal, sta all float some more than others. Sjc and Bullis 9-10. Sta about 4/5.

Landon doesnt float players between varsity and JV.

Their varsity has 45+ on it and their JV has right around 35.

NCAA Quarterfinals. No one cares about HS lax in the middle of May.

Wrong, a bunch of D1 coaches care. They were present last year at this event and there were tier one programs from Big10/acc/ivy.

I am also curious how many kids they will recruit/receive in the next couple years? I am hearing that some current 8th graders are willing to travel from Loudoun to DC for other schools.

To my knowledge teams selected to play in this end-of-year post-season tournament were contacted back in December to play.

In January, much of the pre-season hype was around Bullis from the IAC and Gonzaga from the WCAC. I don't have visibility whether Landon, SJC or Prep were contacted to play in this event.

Hopefully, Bullis can find away to pull it all together as they didn't play well down the stretch. They will have their hands full with Culver tomorrow evening but anything is possible. Gonzaga is not bringing any current seniors which I find strange if all other programs are bringing their 24s.

MIAA Championship is tomorrow night at Navy between BL and McDonogh.

None will travel farther away.

This will be a beat down. Rest assured these hold back factories aren’t sitting their seniors.

Please Gonzaga has plenty of hold backs and 19 year old seniors.
