OP requests that damaging thread be frozen

This thread http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/195/410508.page , as somewhat of a train-wreck, made me sad. The rivalry amongst a few parents at co-located schools seems like it could be quite damaging, despite the innocent intention of the thread. I'm not associated with any of the parties, nor have I posted. Can an action take place in this situation, where the OP has asked posters to stop the unending petty responses (some posters can't seem to let things go:

I started this thread and if I had any authority I would have shut it down about 5 pages ago. This is ridiculous at this point. I was curious, with suspicions that there was more happening than being told (I thought there was a VIP coming based on seeing SS a few random places near the school on Friday/Monday). I never expected it to devolve to this and I kindly ask that this be the last word. If anyone wants to continue to fight please take it appropriately to the playground (it's new and ready for blood).
