I love (just a little too much!) cornbread that's the sweet, cake-y kind, but haven't found a recipe I'm eager to try for fear of disappointment.
Do you have a sweet cornbread recipe you can share? TIA |
| I use Trader Joe's cornbread mix. It's super easy and delicious! |

Use corn off a cob, not frozen. Amazing. |
| Second the Trader Joe's mix. |
|
The Krusteaze mix is the best.
|
| I love, love , love the Betty Crocker mix that comes in a little red and yellow bag. |
| Gina and Pat Neelys honey cornbread. It's my go to. |
| I make my own, and I 1/2 all the ingredients except the sugar, and that makes it thinner and sweeter. |

Super easy, my 4 year old can do it with supervision. |
| Jiffy with a small can of creamed corn mixed in and honey drizzled on top before baking. CHEAP and DELISH! |

I normally cook very healthy. But... this recipe is amazing. I usually read ingredients and say yum or yuck... I read this recipe and was like yuck... but my best friend makes this and my family devours it. I take 1 small bite because it is so "paula deen" aka fattening.

This casserole is delicious but it is not cornbread. |
| I use the one on the Quaker cornmeal box - sweet, cakey and easy. |
| I had a desert at a potluck over the weekend that I really liked. It was, basically, cornbread with chocolate chips in it. At least that's what I thought it was. It was cornbread or cornbread-like. |
I was going to suggest this too! |
