| It was named one of the best in America. Have you been? What are your thoughts? |
| My coworker went and said it was AMAZING. |
| It's great. |
| What's the best way to go there? Heard the lines are always horrible and they don't take reservations. Is there also a line to sit and eat at the bar? |
You go early and you have a couple drinks while you wait. Have you never been anywhere hot before? |
Yes, thank you, I have and I'm used to making reservations. If there are lines out the door, I assumed that there isn't enough room at the bar to have a drink to wait. |
You have a drink at a nearby bar. They text you 15 minutes out. |
| But how long would you have to wait at 7pm on a Tuesday? I don't want to wait more than an hour at another bar (and potentially wreck my meal with too much wine/drinks) and I can't leave work at 5pm. |
Dunno. But it sounds like this restaurant isn't for you. |
| I love it!! Both times we went, we showed up slightly before it opened. Now given the latest accolade, I might show up 30 minutes to 45 minutes early and wait till it opens. But then I don't mind eating early. |
| ... is delicious. |
Why are you on this site? What parent of small children can possibly go out to dinner at such an early hour without kids (thus needing a babysitter at such an early hour) and then be gone for an unknowable amount of time? It may not be the right place for me (or anyone else employed, with children, without a nanny, between the ages of 28-48, etc.), but this isn't the right place for you. |
I actually don't go, for exactly those reasons. But I don't whine about it when a successful business model isn't tailored made for my schedule. |
