All of the other non-" Villareal Yellow" VRSC teams have home games at Morven Park (Leesburg).

That's a good question. Just a guess ... that is the new entity running the Villarreal club as Annandale United was managing it last year and then was eliminated after the split.

That strange because they are far apart and Virginia Revolution is also affiliated with GPS and Bayern.

VIVA partnered with VRSC to be able to play in NCSL since they were under ABGC before but now with the split they needed to partner with a surrounding club to gain entry. I guess they couldn't join NCSL as an independent club yet. Wonder what VRSC is gaining from this if anything. The teams not playing VPL or ECNL RL will be in NCSL under VRSC Villarreal Yellow.

Ironically, I didn't think the club had a second girls team in the age group in any season prior. It doesn't appear to be the 2009s playing up either. (Why would they play up in NCSL and not in the RL?)

None of the junior girls teams (2007 and below) have second teams, the 2007s would've have two teams this Fall after high tryout numbers last season but after the club drama that number decreased significantly. Now the 2007s need a couple 2008s to play up to be able to field a team for ECNL RL. The 2008s last I heard will gap that age group for ECNL RL and just play NCSL while helping 2007s with ECNL RL. If they happen to field a 2008 team in ECNL RL they will need 2009s to play up. They always had 1 or 2 from the 2009s play up last season in NPL. It's all a mess honestly..

I know the 2004G has an NPL team (the schedule is out so definitely has games) and also has an NCSL team.

Pretty sure the 2003 G only has 1 team and its partly made up of 2004's. Which means both 2003 and 2004 VPL teams will be pretty weak this year.

Correct. 2008G VRSC Villareal Yellow in NCSL is what is left of the 2018-2019 VPL team. The 08 squad lost a bunch of players over the summer to the club drama, and they pulled two of the 08s to fill out the 07 ECNL team (which as noted above also saw significant defections over the summer). 08s rely heavily on guesting players up from 09 just to be able to field a team most weeks. Not a sustainable model.

SYC trolls looking to pick the carcass. They don't get paid nearly enough for the time they spend on these threads and social media generally. They tried to pick LMVSC dry and are simply moving from one target to another. Buyer and families beware.

How are the 07s doing in VPL? I heard they didn’t do well in that league even last year, when they had a more complete team but maybe with the 08s they are doing ok?
