| Since DACA is the holdup, couldn’t Trump himself end the budget dispute immediately by simply renewing the DACA program? He rescinded it a few months back, which is what led to this fight. So if Trump just puts it back in place with an Executive Order, the fight immediately ends ... and trump gets to claim he is the hero who saved everyone. Easy win for everyone. Right? |

Of course he could. But the GOP wants to hold the DACA and CHIP kids hostage. They have a gun to their heads and are demanding Democrats do their bidding. |

McConnell should just put the Durbin-Graham bill on the floor and get her done. They already had a deal with the votes. |
