Bad Bunny 2026 Super Bowl halftime performer

That performance was so awful, I expect the NFL to give into Taylor Swift's demands for next year

The HT show was full of symbolism. You need to have at least some level of awareness of Latino culture to understand it.

Between the Olympians who are speaking up on a daily basis in Cortina, JD Vance getting the boos, the Canadian gay hockey show that has taken over the world as the most in-demand TV series, and Bad Bunny tonight, Trump must be livid. Love that for him!

+1 I love everything about it! My favorite part was Ricky Martin because I wasn’t expecting him.

However, the fact that MAGA is triggered and already talking about how many people watched it makes me love it more!

What a way to use his platform. I’m so proud of his choices with this performance. LOVED IT!!
-Latina who grew up never seeing this kind of representation

Wait, what? The Latin Grammys have existed since 2000. You’ve never noticed?

She was too busy SOBBING! šŸ˜‚

Bad Bunny was bad. He needs to hop away.

I do agree that we don't need all the sexy twerking at these half time shows, but recognize that the ship sailed on that decades ago. Actually, it was the Victoria Secret's ads during the Super Bowl in the 1990s that really broke down the wall of "family friendly" viewing in favor of sexy-sexy. So we can thank Les Wexler for normalizing that, as well as for creating the monster that was Jeffrey E.

Well said. I was just telling my kids about the VS Angels and how that whole culture just blew up into every facet- rock & roll, sports, etc.

I love that people are like I’ve never heard of him. He was the most streamed artist in America in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2025.

No one cares that you’ve lived in a bubble for the last five years, but many of the rest of us haven’t.

It’s funny. People on here want the 5 star resort/cruise ship version of PR, not the everyday reality/lifestyle of PR.

The show was fine. But I sense it made some feel others feel uncomfortable.

Loved it.
I speak zero Spanish but loved it. Very colorful and entertaining!

Last year was the ultimate worst.

I loved this year's!

I mean, that definitely underscores the dramatic shift in demographics in the US…

My DD thought she saw Card B! Amazing they were there in a low key role.

The ā€œcasitaā€ is a feature of his concerts. When he was doing his shows in Puerto Rico he had it and the house was the vip section and typically had celebrities in it. The concert is supposed to resemble a house party

amazing.

And let's just bow to Lady Gaga. She is sooo amazing with her talent and her support for artists and her "i don't give F" attitude.

+1. Honestly I think it took a minute to fully recognize her as Lady Gaga bc she was there 100 percent in support of BB, and didn't seem to be styling her act as a traditional "cameo." She blended into the show seamlessly. She is incredible.

1000 percent. This wasn’t about her.

+1. My spouse didn’t believe it was Lady Gaga because he thought she wouldn’t be there as second fiddle to Bad Bunny. But of course she would be. He’s super talented and I bet she wanted to make the show shine given all the racist MAGA garbage thrown his way.

Over 90% of people that watched have no idea what the message was and we're just sitting there bored.

I expect the NFL has its damage control team working already this morning. I expect Taylor Swift or Chris Stapleton to be announced as next year's half time entertainment really soon.
