Talk about a totally uneducated analogy.

Hours before a Georgia grand jury handed down an indictment charging Donald Trump and 18 allies over efforts to overturn his 2020 election loss late Monday, a mysterious document posted on the court’s website erroneously suggested the former president had already been charged before the file was quickly deleted.

That will be their opening salvo. And I have a feeling it will work and cast doubt in people's minds about the process.

That was a dirty but effective trick Trump backers used.

Those were the charges laid out for the grand jury before they voted. What do you think, that prosecutors just go up to the podium and wing it?

Do you know more than the journalist who wrote the article? Because that's not what the article states.

Oh please. It sounds like there are mountains of evidence about the crime.

You must know that defendants are let go due to technicalities even when there is a "mountain of evidence about the crime", right?

thoughts and prayers

My thoughts and prayers are that he, and his conspirators, get all that they so richly deserve, soon and in spades!

Note that the Georgia DA isn't indicting ALL republicans...just the ones involved with the conspiracy.

Both of them have been kissing Trump's derriere so long that there is a permanent brown stain around their lips!

Dershowitz is a MAGA Democrat and has been up Trump’s butt since day 1. Much like Guiliani, he wants to stay relevant and be in the mix and as a result, has doomed his legacy.

And everyone realizes that all of the indictments were 100% avoidable if Trump just boarded his private jumbo jet and flew off into the sunset? At this point, he’s just poking the beast daring someone to throw him in jail. Now he’s got deranged martyr syndrome. And this isn’t a Rupublican vs Democrat thing. I’m an R and grew up in NYC and couldn’t stand him 40 years ago. I hope the Biden’s are held accountable as well (if there’s anything there).

I don’t buy that. A democracy can’t let it slide when a leader who loses an election tries to illegally stay in power. If there’s no consequence to trying, it just invites the next one to try too.

Friday, August 25. They have almost two weeks to surrender.

Trump is in a permanent cold sweat and don't be surprised if, on Aug. 25, he doesn't show up because he is seeking political asylum in Dubai.

That’s what PP is saying. All Trump had to do was suck it up the night of the election and take the L like everybody before him.

Rapist grifters who don't actually care about the United States can't do what is best for the country. Apparently. He wasn't even smart enough to flee to Russia when he had the chance.

I misunderstood then. Thought PP was saying they would have let it slide if he just didn’t run again.
