I went on the site and attempted to purchase tickets for a different show at the same stadium so I could get a feel for the process. My worry was that you can’t save cc info in your account.

Turns out Apple Pay is an option, so I’m more confident about my chances. There are two options: 1. Choose best available 2. Choose your own seats based on cost tier.

I’m trying to memorize the seating chart.

I did this as well and noticed that there is a cart timer there, I really hope they keep that for the Taylor tickets. That was a huge Ticketmaster issue. I'm praying that this oeticket system is better than TM though that's a low bar to cross.

I thought US Ticketmaster did have a cart timer?

They do normally, but did not for the Eras tour last year. That’s why tickets would keep disappearing from your cart at checkout. Happened to me countless times.

Tomorrow is the presale for Vienna! Just got my code. Crossing my fingers.

Weird I vaguely remember one but maybe I’ve just repressed these memories of how crazy it was to wait for 6 hours for tickets! How did you get the code? Text? I haven’t received any yet

I got an email with a link and then a code for Vienna.

I’m new to this thread and everything related to it. Are you saying you are going to shows in all three cities? How does one actually do that? Are you uber wealthy?

No, they are saying they were given access to buy at those three cities. You have to get “pre-approved” to even try to buy.

Oh, I see.

Are people seriously considering traveling out of the country to see a concert? Not asking snarkily - more power to you if you can afford it - but this is so wild to me!

We'd combine it with a vacation.

+1. Also I got codes to try to buy in two cities where the concerts are only just over a week apart. Will shoot for both.

My trip to Nashville from VA for the Taylor Swift show was around $4500 with tickets in there. My 2 tickets came out to $523. My hotel room was $1800. The rest was meals and touristy things in the area. I have gone to both London and Paris on 10-day vacations for much cheaper than $4500!

Just scored Vienna tix. Wow such a pain-free process compared to Ticketmaster! Warning though: I realized after I purchased that the tickets are non-transferable! Guess I’m going for sure now.

WHAT?! So no one can sell? I find that hard to believe.

It said they will check ID at every and any other tickets would have to walk in with the ID holder. Crazy. And probably why I could get tickets and it wasn’t run by bots[mastodon]

Congrats! Have you been to ERAS yet?

I got 4 Vienna tickets this morning as well! It was such a breeze compared to Ticketmaster. It did give me a message several times that there were no available tickets in the category I selected but I kept going back and selecting again and got 4 general admission ones. All four of these tickets with tax AND insurance was under 450!!!

PP are yours non-transferable? I am wondering if mine aren’t because they were VIP

I had the same notice when I first logged into the sale, that the purchaser had to be present to enter. I did get the insurance, which to be honest, I have no idea what that entails but for $20 I figured why not. When I looked more carefully at the terms and conditions, it does look like I might be able to transfer the tickets, but I need to investigate that more today. I plan to be there though, so I am not really worried. I'm planning on also trying for Munich for their sale this week, hopefully it will be as smooth since it's the same vendor. I heard some horror stories from the France sale on Ticketmaster today so I'm thrilled I got to use a different vendor. But I am going to message oeticket and ask about transferring if I can't go for some reason. I wouldn't think VIP is different. I bet that eventually there will be a way to sell/transfer, but that they put the notice about the purchaser being present in the sale to discourage bots and scalpers. I'm fine with that!

I got 4 for Vienna. It was so painless. I logged in at 5:50 and was done by 6:08. Having to enter the code before you were admitted definitely reduced the number of people in the queue. I didn't like the blind purchasing but I think that helped to. You get what you get and you don't get upset.

I can't imagine that there won't eventually be a resale/transfer process. I know it says they will be matching IDs to the tickets but really.....how can they do that in an efficient manner. That would take so much time for someone to read your ID and then confirm it is the same name on the ticket.

I'm super excited. I bought the insurance as well. I have no idea what the insurance is for. It's going to be a lovely vacation.
