I’m not convinced this is what got him the boot. Tucker has said much worse. This was tame in comparison to a lot of his other comments. It had to be something he said personally about Murdoch.

I'm sure there's a whole lot more to the story. Tucker's been flying high on his own supply for a long long time and I'm sure there's a lot worse he hubristically thought he could say and get away with.

Would falsifying the Jan 6 insurrection videos he had exclusive assess to in order to make the rioters look like peaceful protestors have been enough to get TC suddenly fired - after Fox lost the massive law suit?

Nice try. He and his producers didn't do that.

Tucker Carlson, with video provided by Speaker McCarthy, falsely depicts Jan. 6 riot as a peaceful gathering
Some Republicans are looking to the tapes for vindication. Others say it's a mistake for the party to look backward to Jan. 6, particularly after election deniers lost many 2022 races.

Carlson focused Monday’s segment on promoting former President Donald Trump’s narrative by showing video of his supporters walking calmly around the U.S. Capitol. He asserted that other media accounts lied about the attack, proclaiming that while there were some bad apples, most of the rioters were peaceful and calling them "sightseers," not "insurrectionists."

Everything Republicans accuse other people of is a self confession. Tucker is responsible for some truly Orwellian doublespeak.

Hmm...
I guess that leaves out a lot of the gullible elderly who can barely change their TV channel (I mean they've been parked at FOX for a decade.)

How are you going to get the word out to them to go to Newsmax? Carrier pigeon?

Also, Newsmax isn't as slick now in the outrage game as Fox is. Maybe Tucker can help them.

Trust me, if you think that 'gullible elderly' are the demographic you need to eliminate for total domination at the polls, you're high. Were that the case, you would not need mail ins and drop boxes, would you

That's okay. Bit by bit. And elderly do tend to consistently vote. Not like younger people who talk a good talk but dont actually make it to the polls.

It seems he’s Twitter exclusive. Where do you see Newsmax rebroadcasting this?

Explain how he "falsifyed" videos. Be specific.

Quite the stereotype you have there, Skippy.
