Biden said a minor incursion was OK, Putin 'has to do it.' The problem was Putin read this as a greenlight to invade the whole country, and move on to Moldova. Just as Saddam interpreted Bush's permission to take an oil field in a border dispute that the US didn't care about, to an invitation to take the whole country. |

Washington’s blank check war support ultimately did not help Zelensky- a brave but flawed man who has overplayed his hand in not negotiating at the height of his power. It is time to negotiate an end to this war. |

I'm the one that posted the risks of nuclear war. Unfortunately, we're way past that stage now. Russia will not disengage from Ukraine and the collapse and disintegration of Russia is not if, but when. Russia has too many nuclear weapons and too many brainwashed people left in-country. They're just dangerous. Really dangerous. Until the Russians that fled return to their country and regain control of sanity, Russia is far, far too dangerous and unstable. Any sign of weakness or lack of unity in the West will be pounced upon by the Russian Government. |

Some in the West, including the Baltic states, understand: - you never negotiate with Russians. The Russians will only waste your time while plotting to attack you. No. With Russians, you achieve a position of superiority over them through force. Then, you dictate your terms. If the Russians abide by your terms, all is well. When they deviate, you project force in a proportional response. Once Russia has been expelled from Crimea and the rest of Ukraine territory, only then can “negotiations” begin. |

The bloodshed will continue as long as the West gives in to Putin's demands. Appeasement was the US policy in 1938, and look at what happened. Rapes, murders, kidnapping of children? The country is not human anymore. Russia is far, far too dangerous now. The only course of action at this point is for Russia to unilaterally withdraw and cut further losses. |
