Based? More like pathetic cowards |
Apparently by "greenlight" you mean the US President meant greenlight HIMARSing the fck out of Russian occupiers |
Biden said a minor incursion was OK, Putin 'has to do it.' The problem was Putin read this as a greenlight to invade the whole country, and move on to Moldova. Just as Saddam interpreted Bush's permission to take an oil field in a border dispute that the US didn't care about, to an invitation to take the whole country. |

Both parties find themselves facing enormous costs (and further risks) in prosecuting this war further….
Washington’s blank check war support ultimately did not help Zelensky- a brave but flawed man who has overplayed his hand in not negotiating at the height of his power. It is time to negotiate an end to this war. |

I have no idea why Russia is pursuing their little 'special operation'. By letting Putin 'stay healthy,' he has destroyed the Russian military, reduced the dwindling Russian birthrate to destroy the country, and demolished the Russian economy?
Xi knows this as well, which is why China needs to carve away as much of Russia as possible into the Chinese sphere of influence as quickly as possible before Russia completely disintegrates. https://www.silkroadbriefing.com/news/2023/03/27/turkmenistans-opportunities-and-challenges-from-chinas-belt-road-initiative/ https://time.com/6266658/china-emerges-major-global-lender/ https://www.scmp.com/news/china/diplomacy/article/3215156/xinjiang-communist-party-boss-ventures-kazakhstan-trade-mission Did you see Putin objecting about the meetings? Nope. Putin congratulated Xi on his re-election and voiced hope for building even stronger ties. “China has made a colossal leap ahead in its development in recent years,” Putin said, adding that “it’s causing genuine interest all around the world, and we even feel a bit envious,” as Xi smiled. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/3/20/putin-xi-discuss-ukraine-war-and-economic-ties-in-kremlin-talks Why is that? Isn't Putin trying to re-unify the USSR? It's because Putin knows he failed. Putin knows his country is doomed and China is already carving it up like a turkey dinner. But he also knows that his countrymen will never accept rulership by the Chinese. Again broadcast on Russian State TV: "Traditionalist of all kinds Within the conventionally 'white civilization,' there is no one left except Russia who could really be looked up to in this sense. They will not accept, conventionally speaking, the Chinese leadership over them; they will not be interested in the Hindu because it is a different civilization." https://twitter.com/i/status/1641306230189637632 He's a former Cold War KGB agent. What does a true Cold War KGB agent do when his mission fails? The only thing he hasn't done at this point is start a nuclear war. Don't think he won't. New nuclear weapons and platforms have been made operational (Zircon, Saramat, Posideon, two new Borei-K-class nuclear subs). Russian bomb shelters have been refurbished in Moscow. They already did a test alert that scared the hell out of everyone in Moscow. They've already been prepping the local population for all out nuclear war with Russian TV and leadership has been broadcasting the idea of launching a nuclear war against the US 24/7. Words by Russian MP Afonin, Russian politician and member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation[2] for the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. Member of the Board of the Youth Public Chamber of Russia.[1] "Objectively, the United States only ever got away with it when it got it in the neck. There can be no other option. No compromise with the United States. When will they get out of Ukraine? When we will grind down NATO equipment, grind down their Western mercenaries, their instructors, an oppose the plans that the Pentagon is putting together in terms of strikes on our territory. So when they get it in the neck, they'll be gone. Of course, it is not going to be easy. Of course, it will have to be done, and it will certainly happen because there is no other option" https://twitter.com/TheKremlinYap/status/1641306230189637632?s=20 Everyone in the West has said previously that Putin would never start a nuclear war. Is the West lulled sufficiently into a sense of complacency? Would anyone around him? I still remember Putin's quotes to take him seriously when he was conducting training along the Ukrainian borders about two years ago. There were a lot of people saying the same thing back then - Putin won't invade Ukraine. Think it's not a big deal? Do you remember Putin's words about nuclear war these past few months? When's the last time a US Congressman dressed up in military uniform and sang a song about a new ICBM? My advice is ignore the Russian propaganda about Iraq and other distractors and don't just "watch" to collect intel. Short term, I'd stay super alert for Russian activity on April 1st, May Day, Oct 7, etc. - anything with symbolic meaning for Putin. |
I'm the one that posted the risks of nuclear war. Unfortunately, we're way past that stage now. Russia will not disengage from Ukraine and the collapse and disintegration of Russia is not if, but when. Russia has too many nuclear weapons and too many brainwashed people left in-country. They're just dangerous. Really dangerous. Until the Russians that fled return to their country and regain control of sanity, Russia is far, far too dangerous and unstable. Any sign of weakness or lack of unity in the West will be pounced upon by the Russian Government. |
|
And also think of it this way - do you seriously think Putin would negotiate? I think you're stupid and naive.
He's like a mob boss who get's beaten up and then comes back with a tire iron in hand, get's beaten up again and then comes back with a gun.. it's the way he is. And the people around him think he's cool and strong that way. It's not going to change overnight. It's time to take Russia seriously, as a very dangerous, unstable, threatening power. |
Yes cowards. But so what? What difference does it make? (none). Comrade Trollski: - are you implying the entire world is NOT against Putin’s illegal war? (oops. I guess technically North Korea is on board ).
Look at the UN votes. Putin is in the wrong, and no amount of your ridiculous “whataboutism” changes that fact. Even Iran refused to accept Putin’s illegal annexation of DonBass/ Kherson. Google it. |
Fine let me be perfectly frank. Give this mob boss (sounds like too kind a descriptor of Putin) the Russian speaking east and be done with it Ukraine is being destroyed for useless territories. Let’s build a strong Ukraine in what remains. No more bloodshed. We’ve had far too much. Putin will see Justice from his creator though perhaps not on this earth. |
you can call yourself whatever you'd like Frank. |
You're going to have to draft women, 10 year olds and 50 year olds to get your 20 million Ukrainians... |
More than half of the “entire world” doesn’t care. |
Some in the West, including the Baltic states, understand: - you never negotiate with Russians. The Russians will only waste your time while plotting to attack you. No. With Russians, you achieve a position of superiority over them through force. Then, you dictate your terms. If the Russians abide by your terms, all is well. When they deviate, you project force in a proportional response. Once Russia has been expelled from Crimea and the rest of Ukraine territory, only then can “negotiations” begin. |
Fine let me be perfectly frank. It's people like you that would have worked for Hitler. How truly arrogant you are. It's up to the people of Ukraine to decide, not you - not me. The bloodshed will continue as long as the West gives in to Putin's demands. Appeasement was the US policy in 1938, and look at what happened. Rapes, murders, kidnapping of children? The country is not human anymore. Russia is far, far too dangerous now. The only course of action at this point is for Russia to unilaterally withdraw and cut further losses. |
