I saw that Page Six article but read it differently. People keep framing the debate as over Brady playing in the NFL or not, which misses the point. If Brady had stayed retired but threw himself 150% into other business ventures that took him away from home just as much, they would be having the same issues. The problem is not the NFL, it is Brady making decisions that are 100% for him without any consideration of how those decisions affect the rest of the family. He seemingly took for granted in making this decision that he could do whatever he wanted and Gisele would mop up behind him, never mind that she has her own professional goals and made commitments under the expectation that he would be home more, because that’s what he promised to do. She’s reached her limit on playing that role in their marriage.

That she missed his home opener because she is in New York for photo shoots and business meetings says it all.

She had no problem with it when he was carrying on with her very publicly while his heartbroken ex gf was pregnant with his child. He showed her who he was then and she was a willing participant. Boo hoo.

Well, that’s true. Everyone knows that when pregnancy is involved you should stay together regardless of whether the relationship has run it’s course. That’s why we have such a thriving and healthy Relationships forum here on this fine website.

How about not creating babies if the relationship has run its course?

I think he bolted when he found out she was pregnant. He did not want a long term relationship with her and the baby hastened the exit. It's so low rent to splash your new gf all over the press while your ex is newly pregnant.

Moynahan gave an interview in 2008 in which she indicated that she did not find out she was pregnant until after they broke up.

I’m surprised they’re not trying to work it out, or that it’s beyond repair. They have children together, and a life they’ve built. I imagine there have been other struggles besides his retirement reversal. I feel bad speculating but they’ve been very public with their declarations of love. It’s sad when people split.
