Growing share of childless adults in U.S. don’t expect to ever have children

Obviously you can't read enough to see that this is Off Topic forum, which means it's open to topics other than parenting, schools, etc.

I have posted several times in support of childfree people and their choices, and I am very much a parent. There is much more to life than being a parent, and childfree people are not somehow less worthy or less valuable.

But it's obvious the childless (and often unmarried) posters don't just stick to Off Topic, too many of you spam other forums where (married) parents are looking for good advice from empathetic fellow parents. You all can't help yourself but butt in everywhere.

Eh, I'm sure you stick your nose into threads where you have nothing helpful to contribute.

+1. Idle and unhappy.

This is one of the nastiest, most toxic boards on the Internet. Reflect on that.

You do realize DCUM is a large and active internet forum you can search a multitude of topics and end up here.

The nanny forum in particular is very popular, and not at all nannies have children.

Mostly, just ask yourself why are you so angry and hateful?

I would love to know how you think you can tell which advice belongs to which group.

A couple of unhinged spinsters just exposed themselves in a random entertainment thread. I feel sorry for them. Motherhood and heirs changes you in profound ways they will NEVER understand.

Profound ways like making you a bullying, self-righteous asshole?

So how do you feel about me? I have young twins and while they're very lucky to have been born into a UMC household, I give them intentional hardships to overcome. They need it, I want my kids to have grit. My dog is my baby and many days she makes me WAY happier than my kids do. How sad?

Yes….that is quite sad. Why did you have children then?

+2. I'm regularly appalled by the nasty posts I read on here, and yes, I'm a fool and keep coming back. I blame it on the fact that I've moved to a new city without a lot of friends, but every time I read threads like this one it's a reminder I need to get a better social life so I can come here much less often.
