Anyone want to give feedback on the name Ivy? Like or dislike?
Our last name also has a V in it- similar to Nevins- would that be too much? |
I like it-- there's a little Ivy in my neighborhood (3yo). I would be prepared for a surge in popularity since Beyoncé used it. I think the repetition of the "v" sound is nice.
I like it a lot, though I learned on DCUM a few years back that it's stripper name.
I like it too, especially with the repeating v sound
Love love love.
I don't like it. Our old house was covered in ivy. Some people think it's cute and quaint but it was so destructive that we had to rebuild the chimney b/c of it.
I like it.
I love it! Super cute.
I don't love it. However, it's not overused these days, is not "out there" by any means and is easily understood and spelled. Seems like a winner to me overall.
I've always liked it.
I remember that thread because it was so ridiculous. If anything, Ivy is hipster, not stripper. I like it a lot. |
I like it, and I have never seen any normal person refer to it as a stripper name.m
I like it. I guess there's Poison Ivy as a downside, but that's a pretty tame insult.
Not a fan. Just have negative thoughts when I hear ivy. Makes me think of poison ivy or the horrible invasive ivy that's taking over the world.

How about Iva instead?
