Our founding fathers-revolutionaries would be shocked at our apathy.

This is decades of laziness, too much wealth, poor education, decline of morals that has led to this—-a society that allows itself to be headed by immoral, uninspiring, and idiotic leaders in BOTH parties.

The few diamonds there are out there in leadership roles are unable to rise to the top because our society has chosen to venerate beauty and charisma above all else. No wonder the Kardashians are billionaires. Only in America 🤮

The democrats haven't started never ending wars since Vietnam and that was pre-southern strategy, so really, those were mordern republicans.

There was nothing wrong with Kerry, Clinton, Harris or Biden as presidential candidates. The problem was the mind rot that Fox News creates, coupled with the binary "win/lose" approach that Newt Gingrich embraced. Are there bad democrats? Of course. But nothing on the scale of the NeoCons that got us into Iraq and Afgahanistan or the Tea Party that destroyed our balance of the economy.

I don't think the US public quite gets just how bad this is going be. There is no easy way out anymore and without a global oil supply, the economies are going to implode.

And Trump will NEVER surrender to whatever Iran would demand to end this.

And supporting Israel at the cost of the US is still something both Republicans and Democrats support. At least the Democratic leadership and the bulk of the elected democrats in Congress. So it is a both sides issue. Until the Democrats actually show they will cut Israel off and let them fend for themselves and put the interests of this country first.

While this is true, I am old enough to remember when Harris lost the election for suggesting a two state solution and opposing the genocide of the Palestinians.

He won't surrender. He might unilaterally stop bombing Iran but then Iran won't be able to resist getting the last shot. Which will lead to a resumption of bombing and the cycle starting up again.

He'll effectively "surrender" in that his military campaign has failed.

Have you paid to attention to what Trump actually does? He surrenders all the time! He just won't ever admit that he surrendered and insists that he won.
