FWIW My son is current MLSN AD player and he will be in SY system next year one way or another.

So, if you go the Reddit link, it's a screenshot and the original doesn't have the typos that were here because someone evidently took the time to copy and type (Thank you!) but wasn't perfect.

Yes, someone was faking documents last year about "So Cal" (SOCAL league in California) and GA. The documents were proven to be fake. But, 6-8 months later they ended up being partially right. At the tine the fake docs were a 50/50 decision for leagues. Just because whoever created them was partially right doesn't make them any less fake.

It’s usually more valuable to have Q1/2 players bioband down than have Q3/4 players come down. They would have to do something specific for Aug-Dec.

Great point. All this game playing by mLSn is a big turn off to parents. We are at an MLSN club and between the travel, cost and contrived restrictions, people are getting sick of it. Many kids want to play for their HS and do MLSN1, so allow this kids a bit of flexibility to play a handful of HS games and 1 practice per week. Also many kids don’t want to play HS soccer, but are on the bubble between 1 and 2, but have to play their games MLSN2 over the winter. It is driving families and kids to other sports (pardon the pun), or other leagues.

If you want to say this is fake, that’s fine because the jury is still out on MLSN. I don’t know why someone would fake something like that and not give any real information about a decision.

Has anyone else heard that ECNL is expanding? I was told they will be admitting many teams this year from their RL league and essentially having an mlsn2 but not calling it that. Will still be ECNL but with relegation.

Essentially they will have a top league and a bottom ECNL league as well as ECNL-RL.

First there was misspellings all over the "So Cal" announcement. I believe they also provided a date when it would occur and SY window of 9/1-8/31. Both turned out to be false. I dont remember what was weird about the GA fake doc. Might have been fonts or somehting. Both looked a lot like this one.

Believe whatever you want but be aware that there are people willing to fake documents to win arguements online or maybe try to pressure MLS into what they want to occur.
