Can a mom wear short shorts and skinny jeans?

Don't hate me but all the baby weight is gone and all my skinny pants and short shorts fit just fine. Is it ok to wear these now that I'm a mom? Will I be judged negatively? I'm 30 if it matters 5'10". No desire to wear "mom jeans" but don't want to stand out either. Tia

I hope so. I'm 34 and after 2 kids short shorts is about all that still works for me.

Congrats on losing the baby weight! I know lots of moms who wear skinny jeans and some who wear short shorts. If it's your style, go for it! I don't think they would make you stand out at all.

I'm 44, quite petite, size 4. I don't have a great body, am probably about 5 to 10lbs overweight.

That said... I don't care what anyone thinks. I wear short shorts, loose fitting tank tops, no bra when I go to pickup my kids at school. Too damn hot to wear anything else. And I also wear skinny jeans (as long as it hides my muffin top), too.

Skin y jeans, fine. But with the shorts-- you are probably moving arou d differently with kids than u were before. Make rue they still cover appropriately when you are on the floor and moving about.

Definitely! I'm 34 mom of 2, 5'7 size 2-4. I only wear skinny jeans because I find them to be the most comfortable. I personally don't think that shorts that are shorter than 3 inch look good on anyone but I work hard for my legs and have no cellulite so I'm happily spending my summer in 3 inch shorts. If anyone thinks it's inappropriate, by all means they can bite me.

32 yo mom here, currently wearing shorts with MAYBE a 2 inch inseam. As long as they don't show the bottom part of your butt when you bend over, I think you're fine. I'm really short so longer shorts look weird on me.

Why not? And where are you from that we can model our fashion? Wherever you're from, I'm sure you wear something someone in the world would disdain. There would be people in some cultures that would say "no one should be wearing <insert what you wear here>".
