Benjamin Moore Alaskan Husky - it's a light gray, and doesn't look tan or blue when you paint it on.

I love soft blues and greys in a bedroom, as they are very soothing colors.

We love soft blues and grays too. We used:

Behr Gentle Rain (soft gray)
Behr Blue Fox (soft blue)

One deep warm red wall (don't tackle a whole room, it'll take a lot of coats.

Wallpaper one wall with a rifle paper co pattern

A patina color and add copper or brown accents to the room

Give up the greys and blues and LIVE A LITTLE!!!!

Another vote for Behr Gentle Rain. I love this color and currently painting my living room this color. Already have it in the bedroom and den.

What does your furniture, drapes, comforter look like?

We're going with a light beige because gray doesn't go with our drapes, fabric or comforter (blue and gold colored).

We have Winter Flannel - I believe it's Valspar. (Whatever the main line is that is sold at Lowes). It is a soothing blue with gray undertones. I love it!

If you don't care for blue, I find these color palettes soothing:

Does the bedroom color has to match with the bathroom
that's attached to the room?

I was going to suggest something similar to the violet palette. Not girly violet, but still peaceful.

I don't care for the beige

You all have some strange ideas. I once painted my whole bedroom a tomato red and it was actually incredibly soothing. If the lights are dim or off, it's not like color will somehow glow in the dark. It was wonderful to be surrounded by rich color. It felt warm.

If not something that's actually a color and not some trying-not-to-be-offensive bland grey, beige, or cream color, why not just go with all white and get your color from textiles and accents?
