I once painted my whole bedroom a tomato red and it was actually incredibly soothing. If the lights are dim or off, it's not like color will somehow glow in the dark. It was wonderful to be surrounded by rich color. It felt warm. If not something that's actually a color and not some trying-not-to-be-offensive bland grey, beige, or cream color, why not just go with all white and get your color from textiles and accents?[/quote]
