He visited her once at the hospital. Important not to exaggerate.

I wonder if the whole photo debacle was a set up? Of both. I find it implausible that he took any photo or that she was sitting at a Mac altering things that did not really impact the appearance.

She has to be. The tables have turned she’s back in “Waity Katie” stage. William needs to be presented as a stable king. Charles is clearly more ill than what’s been put out. William must appear as the face of the future Royal Family.

agreed about them blaming it on her. The BBC gave them a way out by saying it was an overzealous staffer. Mistakes happen and we know other people are editing these pics

And has they done that you still would be upset. Claiming they lied and how classist of them to blame a subordinate and don't they have the final say?

Agree. Kate took ownership and apologized. Seemed like a decent response to me. But posters are just itching for her to get dumped by William. William, who, whether he has cheated or not, is taking care of her now and shows no sign of leaving her.

Maybe she wanted to take the fall for the staffer. Maybe it was done under her direction. Not far fetched if she has an ED and can't face reality at the moment.

The divorce train is possible, but not that plausible. They both have too much to lose. Losing Kate would be detrimental for the monarchy. Divorcing William would mean being cut off from control of her kids. And no, she cannot get custody of her kids. The crown has and will always maintain custody of those kids. They may not love or like each other very much at the moment but they have both been training for this much of their lives (Will, his whole life). Added to that, Will has lived through a divorce and we all can agree it looms large in his mind. Some of you may argue generational trauma, like father like son, etc, but one could also easily argue that he is determined to never go there.

Let’s assume that William abdicates in the situation described above. George would indeed be the king — with an adult as regent until George is of age. Regency goes in order of the adults in line to the throne. In this case, the regent would be Prince Harry — who might not agree to it, or who might be ineligible unless he relocates to the UK. Next would be Prince Andrew — who most would view as being highly unsuitable, followed by his two adult children. Next up would be Edward. I don’t know if she would be willing to do it, but if a regency were to be established, it’s likely that Princess Anne would be the most generally palatable person in that role. It would take multiple unprecedented steps to make that happen though.

His grandfather is still alive pumpkin so no he would not be ascending the throne even in your fantasy where William is imprisoned.

The ambulance could've been required if she protested going to treatment and fought William which would explain the bruises. Eating disorders are physical and mental and that could be why they're throwing her under the bus in those recent articles.

agreed about them blaming it on her. The BBC gave them a way out by saying it was an overzealous staffer. Mistakes happen and we know other people are editing these pics

Agree. Kate took ownership and apologized. Seemed like a decent response to me. But posters are just itching for her to get dumped by William. William, who, whether he has cheated or not, is taking care of her now and shows no sign of leaving her.
