I'm still here - Reading. Reviewing my sources. Processing.

My views are that - like many celebrity women - she probably has an ED in the form of restrictive diet/picky eater, aka Softgirl 'rexia. But I'm not convinced its bulimia, feeding tube-required anorexia, or that it's the source of her needed surgery. It's a theory, but at the end of the day its idle speculation from the terminally-online peanut gallery.

And if it was ED + rehab, I think KP and William would be taking a different posture when it comes to communications strategy. He'd be out front a bit more with the kids, IMHO. And they wouldn't have put out the comically bad Photoshop'd picture.

The fact that the kids are cloistered leads me to believe marriage troubles are at the heart of the matter. And she's not cooperating with KP and William.

This works for me. The ED explains the pre-Christmas extreme skinniness.

To me at least, the fantasists’ picture of Kate not wanting to be seen with more weight also explains the awful photoshop job, whether Kate did it herself or KP had to do it because she wasn’t cooperating on a new picture.

But it doesn’t explain KP throwing her under the bus, or William’s apparent lack of sympathy. For those questions you need another explanation, and marital discord answers them.

Do we know whether Will is visiting her at Anmer Hall?

Open to other explanations (well not from the tween that thinks she’s funny).

If one member of a family has to go to rehab for something, it’s pretty common for the whole family to be in an uproar and for people to be pissed off at the patient. Rehab causes material strife.

It’s the addiction or ED that causes the strife. Most family members breathe a sigh of relief when the patient agrees to go to rehab.

Where are people getting that Will is throwing her under the bus or being unsympathetic, without first assuming marriage issues? If you look at it objectively, Will's weird behavior, not bringing her up as much etc could just be a sign of distress, assuming she is mentally unstable at the moment.

What she (Kate) wants isn’t what she gets. Tough life. It is 100% within her own power to make this all stop, so it’s time for her to step up. Easter is two weeks away, but she’s gonna need to come out in one way or another a mere 14 days early. Again, tough life.

It’s what she needs to do if they’d like to have any public love and credibility moving forward. Because I’m actually afraid these rumors are true, and that she’s in danger. She alone has the power to end the global crisis, so she ought to do it. (Unless she’s dead, in a coma, or being held against her will somewhere, KP!!!)

Speculation about the end of the British monarchy, William in prison for DV or murder, George ascending to the throne as a child… any of these would have large scale ramifications.

George would not be ascending the throne as a child... You people have seriously lost the plot..Go outside today, get some fresh air, stay off the internet.

While the rest of us are outside enjoying the fresh air, perhaps you could do the tiniest bit of research.

Let’s assume that William abdicates in the situation described above. George would indeed be the king — with an adult as regent until George is of age. Regency goes in order of the adults in line to the throne. In this case, the regent would be Prince Harry — who might not agree to it, or who might be ineligible unless he relocates to the UK. Next would be Prince Andrew — who most would view as being highly unsuitable, followed by his two adult children. Next up would be Edward. I don’t know if she would be willing to do it, but if a regency were to be established, it’s likely that Princess Anne would be the most generally palatable person in that role. It would take multiple unprecedented steps to make that happen though.

Where is the indication that William wishes to abdicate?

RIP ✋✋

This stopped being funny like 40 pages ago, let it die. To the PP- people with bulimia have sores on their fingers from inducing vomiting so much , and posters have said there are photos of her with fingers bandaged over the past few years that seem suspicious of bulimia

The insane conspiracy theories stopped being funny 200 pages ago.

Come on Blanche, you're hogging up everyone's computer screens with your nonsense.

To me the biggest thing is making Catherine take the fall for the stupid photoshop incident. That's bananas. They could have said "a staffer made an unfortunate error" instead of making her look ridiculous. But William also didn't visit her and reports of their marriage difficulties are not new, at all. And come on, marriages are always hard. Divorce is common.

That's how William reads to me, as a distressed husband.

But the terminally online need to make it out to be worse, by alleging DV or, failing that, imperfect sympathy for his sick wife.

Photoshop on a photo taken this year would have been an easy oh the staffer messed up but purposefully picking a photo taken in November, editing clothing and heads and jewelry then posting it with a note that it was taken for Mothers Day 2024 is far more involved than a staffer would simply “mess up”. They may make you skinnier but who goes to the level of detail to change clothing colors and bracelets on a child.

He visited her once at the hospital. Important not to exaggerate.

I wonder if the whole photo debacle was a set up? Of both. I find it implausible that he took any photo or that she was sitting at a Mac altering things that did not really impact the appearance.

The tone of her coverage has really changed.

agreed about them blaming it on her. The BBC gave them a way out by saying it was an overzealous staffer. Mistakes happen and we know other people are editing these pics
