They remind me of the old lady sandals I used to see when I was a kid in Phoenix.
i have them and they are so uncomfortable, i've only worn them 2 times.
Trying-too-hard southern prep.
Hideous

I think of them as preppy classic they last forever
Totally southern prep. Not my style at all. Also think it's weird when I see young women wearing then, they seem fitting for the 50/60/70+ age set.
I want to like them but they're soooooo uncomfortable. Hurt my feet every time
I owe several pairs. A classic sta
I don't think they're southern at all. I have been to MV and Nantucket many times and saw all kinds of women wearing them.
What is your style? Just curious |

I had no idea what Jack Rogers sandals were until my DCs started going to SSSAS. We aren't originally from this area.
My first thought was that maybe someone locally made them because they weren't all that attractive, yet only people in this very small population were wearing them. I caught the name of the shoes once and looked them up. Having lived many places, but really only noticing them here in large amounts, and since in smaller amounts in the south. I would classify them as Southern prep -- particularly based on who is wearing them. The ladies that I know who wear them here are predominately from the south. There are a few who aren't and wear them. I feel that those ladies are trying to fit in a bit with the Southern prep crowd. | I think they are so ugly but I'm more of a sporty person. |
