Lately I've been wearing lace slips under all dresses. What do you think?
|
| in this heat? |
|
Yes. Unless the dress is heavily lined.
PP, just because it's hot doesn't mean it's okay for the world to see your ass. Plus, a slip doesn't make it hotter, but it does act as a first line of defense against butt sweat. And women who wear those cottony dresses that ride all up their cracks look grooooosssss. Slips prevent that. |
| Petti slips, yes. And I am so comfortable, I wish I had started wearing them sooner. |
Ggggrandma? Is this you?? |
| It's me, dearie. I even used that newfangled internet to order them online. |
lol |
| Yep. I love Calvin Klein's microfiber slips. Makes my dresses lie better and absorbs sweat so it doesn't show through my clothes. Plus, I never worry about inadvertently flashing anyone. Lace sounds kind of uncomfortable to me, but if it's comfortable, go for it. |

Only bother with a slip if the dress is not opaque or is likely to cling to my tights (winter, obviously), or if I need some smoothing under an unforgiving knit.
Only have half slips, none have any lace. |
OMG I just googled these! Will order one now- exactly what I need. I have thigh rub no matter how think I am and it keeps me from wearing my dresses a lot. WOO HOO |
| Where do you buy slips? |
| Nope. I don't buy see-through clothes. |
This is great!!! There's a wind tunnel outside my office and I'm always affraid of exposing my rear.
|
| Much prefer Jockey skimmies |
