Informants are usually people who were also involved in the criminal conspiracy and now work with the police to get a sweetheart desk, such as immunity for their own similar crimes. All this tells me is that initially Trump was indeed involved with Epstein and participated in raping girls and women. He was do entangled with Epstein and his enterprise that the FBI was confident enough that they could use him. They flipped him and Trump became an informant to save his own skin.

He's likely an Israeli asset and is on the Epstein files of course.
