In two years. Plenty of time to worry about that problem later. |
Yeah, pretty interesting that no one is discussing that this guy had something stressful going on in his personal life (covering up affair #2) and immediately left to "It must be the student pilot." |
Based on the timeline it was still the same affair partner. Wife told investigators she caught him cheating in Spring '23; girlfriend told investigators they'd been together for two years. So, that lines up. I suspect he told the wife it was over with the girlfriend but it wasn't really over. |
It’s really mystifying why after so many mistakes he left her in control in probably the most dangerous air space in the country. I don’t know if the rank thing makes a difference…is it more awkward to do that to someone that outranks you? There were lots of things that went wrong that day but his failure to take controls for the DCA cross over seems like one of them. But no one should have ever allowed such an insanely dangerous aviation intersection. |
Have you ever told a woman, "No."? |
This. There are so many people I blame before Andrew Eaves and Rebecca Lobach. Namely, the powers that be that increased flight traffic for such a small airport and then allowed army training exercises to occur nearby (so Congress. I'm blaming Congress before I blame Eaves and Lobach). |
No, it's kind of hard to talk when you're texting your sidechick. |
I think their work is sloppy. I have no idea what technology was used to conduct these interviews. Was it Zoom? It's clear some were telephonic and their could have been someone coaching them on their answers. |
Well, they called the gf bc they were going through his phone and noticed "multiple lengthy calls to and from that number in the days leading up to the accident." They do note that she had the opportunity to contact an attorney and she declined and agreed to proceed immediately. So, I don't think she was being coached. I think she's just your typical mistress who can't help herself and gabs to anyone who will listen about the affair. |
I am not convinced she knew he was still with his wife. The wife says they were reconciling and lived together part-time but had just decided to move back in together and bought a new house for a fresh start. She, obviously, stated to investigators that after he died she rescinded the offer. The girlfriend states that he and his wife were separated and that he told her they could go to Alabama together after his tour at Ft. Belvoir was up. She says they were very hopeful and excited about the future. I think we was lying to both of them, and I'm sad (particularly for the wife, the gf should know better than to trust a "separated" man) that this is how they likely had to find out. |
Again. Insane the man in this story has been proven to be a liar and yet the woman is taking the fall. He cheated on his wife, and then lied to both the wife and mistress about no longer being in contact with the other one. Zero credibility. |
He never got to testify. He dead. |
It is a bit sad that they asked both women, "Was there anything stressful happening in his personal life" and the wife said "No, we reconciled and were buying a house together!" and the girlfriend said "No, he was separated from his wife and we were making plans to move together in a couple years." Sounds like he had a lot of stress lying to both of these women and they had no idea. Now, enough stress to impact his job? Probably not. But I'm judging him. |
There is no way this isn't a troll and/or a bot. |
Of course, yes. This is clearly misogynistic, narcissistic, instructor, who literally guided his helicopter into a plane. |
