| Has anyone used this for math enrichment? If so, do you have a sense with how/whether the grade levels correspond to the curriculum. |
| It's Khan. Kahn's is a processed meat company. |
| we used Khan a few times as a supplement our KGer when she wanted to learn how to do carry over in addition and borrowing in subtraction. it was helpful but not something super amazing. i would say there are better ways to do enrichment like Singapore math books or Kumon workbooks or Spectrum workbooks and most importantly parental support (ie doing all of this together) |
who cares... so OP had a typo... |

Thanks for the feedback.
So I have the same question then for Singapore. Do the grades line up? My child is in 4/5 compacted math (just finished fourth grade). |
| The beauty of the Common Core is that they can make these materials align to the curriculum of any school implementing Common Core. So yes, they should line up. |

KAHHNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!
|
| 5th grade MCPS math is the same material as 5th grade anywhere? |
No. 5th grade math is different from public to private and even from different levels in the same school. |
| I would be surprised if Singapore mth was realigned to match the common core.. |
It was a typo |
Guess PP is not a Star Trek fan. |
Need a visual to get the idea across. |
I got it. So there are atleast 3 of us here. |
I dont think they lineup. If you look at the table of contents in this Singapore 1B book (2nd Grade) they cover multiplication and division which I believe is 3rd grade in common core standard ... I use http://www.ixl.com/standards/maryland/math to track what is covered at what grade. |
