DH said I could have a weekend alone away. I would like to go to a nice resort with spa. I can fly or drive. For the first time in my life, I think I will go away alone. I just want 3 days of R&R.

OP here. Some options are Homestead, Greenbrier, Nemacolin or similar. Which one is the best of this type of resort?

I loved the Inn at Perry Cabin in St Michael. Easy 1 hour drive from DC. Beautiful place - great spa. Amazing food.

If price isn't an issue go to canyon ranch in the Berkshires. Divine.
